Worship/Liturgy Ministries
PUBLIC WORSHIP IN THE COMMUNITY
LITURGY COMMITTEE
Our liturgical rites are an expression of both the tradition of the church and the local communities which celebrate these rites. Adjustments in the worship space environment help call this to mind and enhance our celebration. Advent/Christmas and Lent/Easter requires much preparation. Parishioners are asked to coordinate and implement the environmental changes.
MUSIC MINISTRY
Erin Laurence, Director of Music
468-3600 ext. 109
Music is an integral part of our liturgies. At Holy Spirit there are a variety of ways in which people may participate in music ministry. Presently, we have cantors and instrumentalists at the 5:30 liturgy on Saturday evenings and 8:00, 10:15 and 12:15 on Sunday mornings. The choir usually sings during the 10:15 AM Sunday liturgy but occasionally rotates to other liturgies.
Children’s Choir (grades 4-6): 5:30 PM - 6:15 PM Thursday
Teen Choir (grades 7-12): 6:15 PM - 7:00 PM Thursday
Adult Choir: 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM Thursday
