ALL CLASSES AND MEETINGS WILL BE HELD TUESDAYS 7:00-8:30 IN ACTIVITY ROOM A.

Confirmands must sign a Confirmation Commitment Agreement, which will be distributed at the first class.

Confirmands who have not received Baptism or Communion, or who have not participated in Faith Formation classes for two years or more will be required to take Sacramental Preparation classes. 

Missed classes MUST be made up. It is the responsibility of the Confirmand to reschedule missed classes.

Confirmation Teens MUST participate in Life Teen (Sundays 6:00-8:00).

Confirmands are expected to attend Sunday Masses, as well as Holy Days of Obligation (November 1, December 8, December 25, and January 1).

Confirmands must attend a Confirmation Retreat, as required by the Diocese of Richmond. The Confirmation Retreat for Holy Spirit will be held at the St. Clare Retreat Center in Hampton on October 30-31, 2026.

A valid Baptism Certificate must be obtained from the Confirmand’s church of record and submitted to Holy Spirit Catholic Church no later than January 19, 2027. *If the teen was baptized at Holy Spirit, please tell a staff member and we can look up the necessary information.

Sponsor Attestation Forms (or equivalent from the sponsor’s parish) are due on January 19, 2027.
