📝 Important Requirements

All MEETINGS will be held in Activity Room B.

Candidates are expected to attend Sunday Masses, as well as Holy Days of
-
Obligation (November 1, December 8, December 25, and January 1).

Candidates must participate in Faith Formation classes (Elementary School on
Sundays from 1:30-3:00 or Middle/High School on Sundays from 6:00-8:00).

Work assigned during Sacramental Preparation classes will be checked and
recorded during Faith Formation classes. Intermediate students will be quizzed
about what they have read, since there isn’t anything to write in the books.

Candidates must attend First Reconciliation and First Communion Retreats, as
required by the Diocese of Richmond.

A Baptism Certificate must be obtained and submitted to Holy Spirit Catholic

Church no later than April 4, 2027. If the child was baptized at Holy Spirit, please let a

staff member know, and we can look it up for you.

Candidates will not be allowed to participate in the First Communion Retreat if
paperwork (Baptism Certificate) is not submitted.
